EMMA CASHMAN
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

ABOUT ME
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a genuine passion for supporting adults through the difficulties they are facing to create positive change in their lives.
I enjoy developing a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to gain a deeper understanding of the heart of their current difficulties.
I will work alongside you, providing guidance, support and therapeutic strategies to help you heal and move toward a life of joy, meaning and purpose.
I am trained in a number of different therapeutic modalities which allows me to individually tailor my approach to the unique and deeply personal needs of my clients. I draw upon evidence-based models including Eye-Movement Densitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness. I have a particular interest in helping my clients understand the origins of the difficulties they face in the context of their own unique life story.
I enjoy working with individuals who are experiencing a range of concerns, including:
Anxiety
Depression
Trauma
Post traumatic stress disorder
Relationship concerns
Bipolar disorder
Stress management
Life changes
Adjustment disorder
Grief and loss

I am very passionate about my job as a psychologist. I greatly enjoy the opportunity to work alongside people from various walks of life and supporting them with whatever challenge life may be presenting. I also consider the job an enormous privilege and have graciously learnt a lot from the people I have worked with for which I am deeply grateful.
